Escultura. Leño, zapato, arena y ventilador. Medidas variables.
Sculpture. Wood, shoe, sand and fan. Dimensions variable.

Escultura-Tiempo. 
La traducción del italiano al español sería, Una piedra en el zapato, algo incomodo.
Un ventilador esculpe arena con la forma del leño que la sostiene. Dentro de la arena, un zapato. 
El zapato es memoria del cuerpo, la ausencia del mismo cuando no lo portamos. Dentro el contexto Mexicano, el viento esculpiendo arena se vuelve trágico, ya que excavando encontramos cuerpos. 
Después de meses en donde el ventilador ya no esculpe, sino más bien termina de develar, uno tiene la posibilidad de volver a juntar la arena, volver hacer el molde que sigue con la forma del tronco; volver a comenzar. Se convierte en un ejercicio de enterrar y desenterrar. 
Aun cuando es una pieza autónoma, es también un boceto para llevar el trabajo a nivel instalativo.

Time-Sculpture. 
The translation from italian to english, A stone in the shoe, somewhat uncomfortable.  
A fan sculpts sand with the shape of the log holding it. Inside the sand, a shoe. 
The shoe is memory of the body, the absence of it when not wear. Within the Mexican context, the wind sculpting sand becomes tragic, as digging we find bodies. 
After months when the fan stops sculpting and finish to unveil, one has the possibility to put together the sand, do the mold that continues the form of the log and start again. It becomes an exercise of burying and digging. 
Even though its an autonomous piece, it is also a sketch to take the work to an installation level.
