Installation that explores the notion of urban landscape after roaming around for a week in the Albanian capital. A series of columns of perforated bricks of different heights are scattered around the exhibition space. Placed on top of the columns are some drinking glasses filled with raki, and everyday objects immersed in each glass. Amongst the columns, a photograph of a burning trash dumpster, and a video of a brief action made at the Mausoleum of Enver Hoxha is projected. The work references the loss of memory, fragility and the disorganized urban growth of Tirana.
