El pánico generó un vacío, 2020

El pánico generó un vacío (Void made by panic), 2020.                                              Toilet paper, cardboard tube and white glue.                                                                  5 x 5 x 15 cm.

Small-format sculpture made with toilet paper where basically I play with the idea of inverting the spaces. The positive space on the toilet roll changes when that same information is used to fill in the negative space of it. From holding it, it becomes a container.

It is a sculpture that highlights how our lives have been inverted. Reminding us of the first months of the 2020 pandemic and how the panic purchases left the supermarket shelves empty and home spaces filled.
