Muro, 2016

Muro (Wall), 2016.                                                                                                            Brick carving.                                                                                                                  160 x 160 x 20 cm

This sculpture comes from the information I obtained walking and observing the old walls of Rome and Naples.

Time and the manner in which we inhabit the city, erode and sculpt its walls without any kind of control, therefore, I was interested in carving a geometric shape, like a circle; a shape controlled by the hand of man and in this way counteract those changes or deformations that happen without control.
